Shoulder Seasons

Early & Late Season

During our shoulder seasons—from November through mid-to-late December and again from late March to mid-to-late April—conditions can vary considerably. Early in these periods, snow coverage may be sparse, which could limit the number of lifts in operation. As the season progresses into the later months, icy or slushy conditions might set in. Rest assured, where conditions permit, we aim to keep all available lifts running through late April.

Mid-Season

Peak winter means deep snow, busy days and canyon traffic. Big storms can bring legendary powder—but also delays. Be prepared for traction laws in the canyon and possible lift holds while patrol works to open terrain safely. Stay tuned to the conditions page for real-time updates on trails and lift status.

Night Riding

Ride under the lights from mid-December through early April with lifts running until 9 pm. Crest 6, Snake, Milly, Majestic and Explorer Monday-Saturday. Storms and cold temps can cause lift closures, so always check the conditions page. Night riding typically wraps up early April—conditions permitting.

Limited Operations

Meltdown

Meltdown season kicks off in early May and lasts as long as conditions allow. Expect soft, slushy turns and sunscreen-worthy days. Conditions permitting, the Meltdown is a bonus stretch of spring laps—extra days on the hill where the riding is loose, stoke is high and the tan lines are real.
