At Brighton’s Mountain Adventures Camp, kids trade the valley heat for fresh air, open space, and full days outside in Big Cottonwood Canyon. From hiking and geocaching to art, games, and outdoor challenges, each day brings something new. Campers explore mountain ecosystems, learn about local watersheds, and stay curious through hands-on activities designed to keep them moving and engaged. Add archery, frisbee golf, and group games, and you’ve got a summer built on movement, creativity, and connection. Open to all experience levels, Mountain Adventures Camp creates space for kids to grow, make friends, and build a lasting relationship with the outdoors.

Meal Plan + $75
Skip packing a lunch. Fresh daily meals include a sandwich, veggies or chips, and a cookie. If you’re not opting in, please send your camper with a hearty lunch and snacks.

Friday Bike Sessions + $79
Give your camper a Friday on the mountain building bike skills. Campers should already ride comfortably and use hand brakes. Made for beginner to intermediate riders, with a rental bike, pads, helmet, a guided lesson, and lift access when it fits the group.

Every session is packed with outdoor activities, team challenges, and optional add‑ons to help campers make the most of their week.
Camp Activities
Campers discover what makes Brighton unique through games, exploration, and hands‑on learning with our counselors. Activities include archery, fishing, frisbee golf, group games, kickball, and more — all grounded in teamwork and adventure.
Available Transportation
Limited transportation is available up and down Big Cottonwood Canyon. Vans depart the Big Cottonwood Park & Ride at 9am and return at 4pm. If you're driving, drop‑off at Brighton is at 9:30am and pick‑up at 3:30pm.
Friday Mountain Bike Add-On
This Friday add‑on is for campers who can confidently ride a bike and use hand brakes. It’s a great fit for beginner to intermediate riders. For $79, campers get a rental bike, pads, helmet, a guided lesson, and lift access based on group comfort.
Meal Add-On
For $75, campers enjoy fresh daily lunches with a sandwich, veggies or chips, and a cookie. If you're not opting in, please send your camper with a hearty lunch and snacks.

What to bring:
- Backpack (labeled with child’s name)
- Healthy lunch and several snacks
- Water bottle
- Sweatshirt/jacket (it can get chilly, even in the summer)
- Extra socks
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Non-aerosol bug repellent
Please send your camper dressed and ready for a day on the mountain! (Comfortable active clothing and close-toed hiking boots or sneakers)
What to leave at home:
- The screens! To fully immerse themselves in the beauty of Brighton, campers are asked and encouraged to leave their devices at home (or out of sight in their bags) while at camp!
Hang up and hang out!
- Space is limited in each camp and is first registered, first served.
- Cancellations made 14 days prior to the first day of the camp are acceptable but incur a $50 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the first day of camp are non-refundable.
- There are no make-ups or refunds for missed days.
- If there are any issues, concerns or problems with these programs, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can address the situation.
