The Gear You Need
Each rider must use their own bike that meets all requirements. For everyone’s safety, passengers and tandem riding are not allowed.
- BIKES
Mountain bikes only – NO e-bikes. - HELMETS
Helmets are required on all downhill mountain biking trails. Full-face helmets are strongly recommended. - WHEELS
Wheels must be a minimum of 20 inches – NO fat tire bikes. - PROTECTIVE GEAR
Gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are strongly recommended for added protection.
- SUSPENSION
Bikes must have front suspension at a minimum. Full suspension is strongly recommended. - BRAKES
Bikes are required to have front and rear brakes. - FOOTWEAR
Closed-toe shoes are required. No sandals, flip-flops or other open footwear.
Loading & Unloading
The ride starts here. Both Majestic and Crest 6 chairlifts offer bike access, making it easier to reach Brighton’s downhill trails. Load up, take in the views and get ready to roll.
Majestic: Lift operators will unload bikes for you.
Crest 6: Guests unload their own bikes.
LOADING
- Walk bike on to platform and raise the front wheel.
- Push the front wheel into the bike clip on the chair in front of you.
- Wait and load on the chair behind you.
UNLOADING
- Grab your handlebars and pull straight back.
- Lower the bike to the ground once the clip releases.
- Walk (do not ride) off the deck past the red line.

STAY IN CONTROL
You are responsible for avoiding objects and people.
KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Ride within your ability. Start small and work your way up.
PROTECT YOURSELF
Use an appropriate bike, helmet, and protective equipment.
INSPECT & MAINTAIN YOUR EQUIPMENT
Know your components and their operation prior to riding.
BE LIFT SMART
Know how to load, ride and unload safely. Ask if you need help.
INSPECT THE TRAILS & FEATURES
Conditions change constantly; plan and adjust your riding accordingly.
OBEY SIGNS & WARNINGS
Stay on marked trails only. Keep off closed trails and features. Ride in the direction indicated.
BE VISIBLE
Do not stop where you obstruct a trail, feature, landing, or are not visible.
LOOK OUT FOR OTHERS
Look both ways and yield when entering or crossing a road or trail. When overtaking, use caution and yield to those ahead.
COOPERATE
If involved in or witness to an incident, identify yourself to staff.
LEAVE NO TRACE
Respect wildlife, be considerate of other bikers & hikers, and pack out what you bring in.

Getting Help
Watch for Patrol Transfer Point signs along the trail. When calling for emergency assistance, do your best to provide your location relative to these designated transfer points. Our Bike Patrol will utilize these locations as access points to provide assistance. Outside of bike park operating hours always call 911 first. Our Bike Patrol is only available during bike park operating hours.
Additional Safety Information
- Uphill travel on the bike trail is not allowed.
- Please follow all posted signage and watch for limited cross-traffic along our routes for hiking and DISC GOLF.
2025/26 Passholder Perks
2025/26 Winter Season Passholders get two free summer lift tickets automatically loaded onto their pass. You must have your pass on hand to board the lift. To pick up your Season Pass, visit any of our Pick-Up Boxes located around the Brighton Center and Milly Chalet.
Prior to boarding the lift, please ensure your "Mountain Biking & Activities Liability Release" waiver has been signed. To access, sign into your online account HERE, select "My Account" from the dropdown in the top right corner, then select "Waivers" from the menu on the left-hand side. You will not be able to scan through the gates until your waiver has been signed.
Up to two kids, 6 & under, ride free with pass-holding adult.

EASY RIDER
Beginner | Majestic Lift
Easy Rider starts at the top of the Majestic Lift and descends gently down towards the Snake Creek Basin and finishes at the bottom of the Great Western Lift. This mellow flow trail is perfect for beginner to intermediate bikers as it winds through the aspen groves of Brighton.
MOOSE TRACKS
Intermediate | Majestic Lift
Branching off from Easy Rider, Moose Tracks dives into a rhythmic ride of tabletop jumps and perfectly sculpted berms. Intermediate riders will love the way this blue trail twists through the aspen grove, mixing speed with a touch of airtime.
WASATCH WIGGLE
Beginner | Crest 6 Lift
This beginner-friendly trail drops in off the top of Crest and makes its way down the north face with a playful series of switchbacks and mellow berms. True to its name, Wasatch Wiggle keeps things smooth and twisty, offering a flowy, scenic ride perfect for those looking to build confidence while cruising through high-alpine terrain.
SNAKE PIT
Intermediate | Crest 6 Lift
This intermediate tech/flow trail winds through the Snake Creek drainage at Brighton, weaving between towering trees and flowing with a mix of playful berms and natural granite rock rolls. Riders get a smooth rhythm of turns and features as the trail snakes through the forest, offering just the right balance of flow and technical challenge.
