From wide-eyed first timers to riders ready to level up, our mountain biking lessons are built for real progression—on real trails. With expert instructors and small group sizes, you’ll gain confidence, skill and a deeper connection to the mountain with every turn of the pedals.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Group lessons are designed for riders who already know how to ride a bike and use hand brakes. If you're brand new to biking, please start with a private lesson and we’ll get you rolling in no time.

CURRENT LIFT OPERATIONS


Crest 6 is now spinning daily, unlocking access to even more hiking, mountain biking, and scenic views. On Fridays, Majestic operates until 5 PM while Crest 6 keeps the adventure going until 8 PM for extra laps, longer hikes, and more golden hour adventures.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

Come Prepared To Ride

A little preparation goes a long way. Here's what you'll need for a safe day on the trails.


  • BIKES
    Mountain bikes only. E-bikes are not permitted.
  • HELMETS
    Helmets are required for all lesson participants. Full-face helmets are recommended for additional coverage and protection.
  • GLOVES
    Mountain bike gloves improve grip, comfort, and protection on the trail. Don't have a pair? Gloves are available for purchase at BRIGHTON MOUNTAIN SPORTS.
  • PROTECTIVE GEAR
    Knee pads and elbow pads provide added protection and confidence while learning new skills and exploring the trail network.
  • FOOTWEAR
    Closed-toe shoes are required. Sandals, flip-flops, and other open footwear are not permitted.
  • WATER & WEATHER
    Bring water, sunscreen, and layers appropriate for changing mountain conditions.

DOWNHILL BIKE RENTALS

No bike, no problem. Downhill bike rentals are available as an add-on during checkout.

Additional Details

  • Lift passes are needed for all students.
  • Helmets and gloves are required.
  • Elbow and knee pads are highly recommended and can be rented a the Rental Shop.
  • We do not provide make-up sessions for missed classes or late arrivals
  • Lessons are non-transferrable and non-refundable
  • If your plans change, submit an EASY CHANGE REQUEST FORM at least 24 hours before your lesson
