Your Guide to Making the Most of Your Brighton Season Pass
A Brighton Season Pass is more than just lift access—it’s your key to riding when you want, bringing your crew, and making the most of every day on the mountain.
Whether you’re here a few times a month or a few times a week, knowing how things work can go a long way in helping you get more out of your season.
Here’s everything you need to know:
MAKE EVERY DAY A RIDE DAY
Afternoon Access With Zero Blackout Dates
NEW FOR 2026/27: All passholders can ride after 2pm any day with no blackout dates, perfect for:
- quick afternoon laps
- after-work sessions
- full evenings under the lights
However your schedule looks, Brighton is built to fit the way people actually ride.
PASSHOLDER PARKING
How to Make It Work for You
Parking is built to keep things moving while giving passholders real access throughout the season. Here’s how to make it work for you.
YOUR PASSHOLDER ACCESS
Season passholders can:
- hold up to two free parking reservations at a time
- book additional days as soon as one reservation is used
- access passholder-only inventory
We’ve made a lot of progress with parking. Shaped by passholder feedback, the system today is built to give you more flexibility and a clearer plan before you head up. It’s not about limiting access—it’s about knowing you’ve got a spot before you make the drive.
WHEN RESERVATIONS BECOME AVAILABLE
Parking reservations are released:
- pre-season (very limited release, primarily for out of town guests)
- weekly (limited weekend inventory, Mondays @ 6pm MST)
- daily (the day before your visit @ 8am & 2pm MST)
Availability shifts often as plans change, so if you don’t see your date right away, it’s always worth checking back. Seeing limited availability early doesn’t reflect what will open up closer to your ski day.
WHY IT LOOKS SOLD OUT (AND ISN’T)
Early in the week—or early in the season—it can look like everything’s booked out. In reality, most parking inventory hasn’t been released yet. Parking opens in waves, with the majority becoming available closer to when you plan to ride.
TIMING YOUR ARRIVAL
On weekends and holidays, parking reservations are required until 12pm.
After 12pm:
- parking becomes first come, first served
- no reservation is needed
Midday (roughly 11am–2pm) tends to be the busiest window, with guests arriving for afternoon and twilight laps. Planning around that window—earlier or later—can make a noticeable difference.
WHAT “RESERVATION EXPIRED” ACTUALLY MEANS
If you see a message that your parking reservation has “expired” after 12pm, it does not mean your parking spot is gone.
It simply means:
- reservations are no longer required for entry
- the lot has shifted to first come, first served
If you’re already parked, you’re set for the rest of the day.
PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL
Before heading up, check the PARKING or CONDITIONS pages for the latest updates.
You’ll find:
- whether reservations are required that day
- current lot status (full or filling)
- canyon restrictions or updates
These tools help you plan ahead and avoid getting turned around at the loop.
SKIP THE DRIVE
Free UTA Ski Bus Access
If you’d rather skip parking altogether, your pass includes free access to the UTA Ski Bus.
With multiple pickup locations across the valley and direct drop-off at the resort, it’s one of the easiest ways to:
- avoid canyon traffic
- skip parking logistics
- get straight to the lifts
MORE THAN JUST WINTER
Same Pass, New Season
Your pass doesn’t stop when the snow melts.
Season passholders can take advantage of summer access at Brighton, including:
- scenic chairlift rides
- mountain biking
- hiking and disc golf
It’s a way to keep the mountain part of your routine year-round. Purchase before May 29 and your Summer Season Pass is included. After that, summer access is available as a discounted add-on.

NEW FOR 2026/27: Unlimited Season Passholders get a complimentary full-day lift ticket to share during early and late season windows.
It’s an easy way to share a day at Brighton.
WHERE WINTER STICKS AROUND
Snow Conditions at the Top of Big Cottonwood
Brighton is built for a full season.
With higher elevation, strong snowmaking, and terrain that holds up deep into spring, conditions here tend to stay consistent longer especially compared to lower elevation resorts.
And when the season starts to wind down, we don’t just call it—we build it. Brighton’s “bonus season” tradition means staying open as long as conditions allow, with primary lifts spinning and a top-to-bottom terrain park built for sunny, slushy laps that feel like a whole new mountain.
REAL-TIME MOUNTAIN UPDATES
Conditions, Lifts & Trails
Knowing what’s spinning (and what’s not) can make all the difference in your day.
The CONDITIONS page is your go-to for real-time updates, including:
- lift status
- trail openings and closures
- terrain park updates
- daily operations
A dedicated team works throughout the day to keep this information as accurate and up to date as possible.
On days with changing weather or avalanche mitigation, timing can shift. When that happens, updates will follow as quickly as possible so you can plan your next lap with confidence.
RIDE WITHOUT LIMITS
Perks Exclusive to the Unlimited Pass
The Unlimited Pass is exactly what it sounds like. Ride open to close, every day of the season, with no blackout dates getting in the way.
Beyond Brighton, it opens things up even more. You’ll also get:
- one complimentary full-day lift ticket to bring a friend during early and late season
- access to the Wasatch Benefit (now including Snowbasin) with weekday tickets at select Utah resorts
- days at Boyne sister resorts across North America
More days here. More days everywhere.
