Gather ‘round for a summer evening in the mountains as Campfire Cookouts return to Brighton Resort. Hosted at the historic Wasatch Mountain Lodge just above the base area, this intimate dining experience combines open-fire cooking, alpine scenery, and laid-back summer nights in the Wasatch.
The evening begins with passed appetizers and a welcome beverage before settling in for a multi-course family-style dinner prepared over open campfires and the lodge’s original stone hearth. After dinner, enjoy dessert on the patio beneath soft summer skies surrounded by aspens, pines, and fresh mountain air.
Your reservation includes:
- A multi-course family-style dinner experience
- Complimentary transportation from the base area via the Brighton mining cart shuttle
- Access to a full evening in the mountains at the historic Wasatch Mountain Lodge
- A unique summer dining experience offered on select nights throughout the season
A full bar featuring craft cocktails, wine, local beer, whiskey, and premium non-alcoholic beverages will be available for separate purchase throughout the evening. Guests are also welcome to bring their own wine with a corkage fee.
With limited dates and a small-group atmosphere, Campfire Cookouts are designed to slow things down and make the most of summer evenings in the mountains, including a special Father’s Day edition on June 21.
Additional Event Details
Guests should park near the Brighton Lodge in the southern corner of the main parking lot. From there, you can either:
- Take the complimentary Brighton mining cart shuttle to the Wasatch Mountain Lodge
- Walk the lighted path on the east side of Brighton Lodge for a short stroll through the woods
Dinner service begins at 6:30 pm, with seating available starting at 6:00 pm.
Campfire Cookouts are a single seating experience with one coordinated dinner service for all guests. To help us keep the evening flowing smoothly, guests arriving after 7:00 pm may not be accommodated.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wine to enjoy during dinner. A $25 corkage fee applies per 750ml bottle.
A full bar featuring alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and premium non-alcoholic options will also be available for separate purchase during the event.

Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for a refund.
Campfire Cookouts take place in a mountain environment at Brighton Resort. Guests may encounter uneven terrain, gravel, dirt paths, stairs, steep grades, and other natural mountain conditions while accessing the venue.
