Our campers escape the valley heat and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature through hiking, scavenger hunts, art projects, and games. With options for various interests and skill levels, Brighton Resort summer camps are the perfect way for kids to have fun, stay active, and explore the wonders of the natural world. 

Delve deeper into Brighton's unique environment, learning about mountain ecosystems, watersheds, and even searching for geocaches while engineering hands-on projects all while staying engaged and energized. Participate in team sports like archery, frisbee golf, and relay races, all set against the breathtaking mountain backdrop of Brighton.

Camp Policies & FAQ

  • Mountain Adventure: At Brighton, the Great Outdoors is the best classroom. Campers will escape the valley heat and discover fun facts about what makes Brighton unique through hiking, scavenger hunts, art projects and games. 

    Brighton Olympics: Campers will get to experience a number of games, activities and challenges that Brighton has to offer. Join us for a week of team sports – Archery, Frisbee Golf, Relay Races and more – all within a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

    S.T.E.M: Campers will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the environment that is Brighton. Learn about mountain ecosystems & watersheds, search for Geocaches and engineer some hands-on projects all while exploring the natural landscape of the Brighton Basin. 

  • Campers can travel to Brighton together! Campers will meet at the base of Big Cottonwood at 9am and be back by 4pm. 

  • Camp Brighton now provides a meal add-on option so campers don't have to pack a lunch! If you do not select this option, please send your child to camp with a packed lunch.

    •  Space is limited in each camp and is first registered, first served.
    •  Cancellations made 14 days prior to the first day of the camp are acceptable but incur a $50 cancellation fee.
    •  Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the first day of camp are non-refundable.
    •  There are no make-ups or refunds for missed days.
    •  If there are any issues, concerns or problems with these programs, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can address the situation.
    •  After registering online, you will receive a follow up email a week before your camp date. For other questions or concerns please email summercamps@brightonresort.com.
  • To ensure your child has a fun and safe experience at Camp Brighton, we hire positive, fun, engaging counselors. All of our lead camp counselors have significant experience working with children of all ages as teachers and/or ski and snowboard instructors. With a goal to communicate effectively and connect with children, all camp counselors have been trained in child development and positive behavior strategies. All camp staff have completed background screenings.

    • Sunscreen
    • Sweatshirt/jacket (it can get chilly, even in the summer)
    • Hiking boots or sneakers. No open-toed shoes/sandals, please!
