Brighton Area Boundary Policy+ Brighton Resort Area Boundary Policy + When you pass beyond the Ski Area Boundary, you leave the area of ski patrol services including avalanche control. You are entering an area that has many natural hazards including avalanches. You are responsible for learning about and avoiding these natural hazards. You are responsible for your own actions, for your own rescue, for the cost of your rescue, and you waive all claims for injury.
Backcountry rescues are the responsibility of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, often assisted by Wasatch Backcountry Rescue. Backcountry rescues are costly and hazardous to rescue personnel, please use caution in the backcountry.
Please report any avalanche activity caused or witnesses to the Brighton Patrol, Alta Central (801)-742-2033, or The Utah Avalanche Center
