Brighton serves up peace and quiet! Enjoy the hiking, fishing, cool mountain air and spectacular views. Design your own schedule. But there’s more…
Take a 1 mile level walk to Silver Lake, an interpretive center on a small lake stocked with trout for the fishermen. The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation runs year-round programs there, and they’ll discuss almost anything interesting: watersheds ecology, constellations, owls, hummingbirds, tracking wildlife in the snow, wildflowers.
Nearby Salt Lake City is also the gateway to five national parks and 29 golf courses. In addition, there are other activities in Salt Lake City and nearby. You can trace your family tree at the Family Search Center in downtown Salt Lake City’s Temple Square, visit the worlds’ nearly largest copper mine, take the kids to a huge, kid-friendly dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, visit Hogle Zoo or the Aviary, and much more.
