From Salt Lake City to Brighton
Those who opt to stay in downtown Salt Lake City can ride specially equipped Utah Transit Authority (UTA) ski buses to Brighton and three other resorts. The buses stop at 10 hotels in downtown plus 15 other hotels in the greater Salt Lake area, and they stop at park-and-ride pick up points along the way. No need for a car.
That means you can take the bus from your hotel in downtown Salt Lake up to Brighton to ski and ride. Buses run frequently all day long so when your legs fall off, you can hop a bus back to your hotel and get ready for the evening. The one-way fare is $4.50 for 2008-2009. Tip: Take the correct abount because bus drivers cannot give change.
